Sumari Davis qualified as a pharmacist at Potchefstroom University in 1993. She then completed her internship at Witbank Hospital and continued services in the public service for the next 15 years. Most of her experience was in stock control and distribution, including cold chain management, to hospitals and primary healthcare clinics.
She served as the Responsible pharmacist for the West Rand Regional Pharmacy for 3 years, after which she decided to expand her field of experience and joined Amayeza in 2009. Over the past 15 years, she gained experience in responding to enquiries on medicines, vaccines, and malaria. She took over as General Manager of Amayeza in 2022, when she also became a member of the subcommittee for chemoprophylaxis and therapy of malaria.
