Kgabo Tshepo Komape, ICPA Vice Chairman, Pharmacy Owner

Kgabo Tshepo Komape is a community pharmacist, business owner, and healthcare leader dedicated to advancing independent pharmacy in South Africa. A B.Pharm graduate from the University of Limpopo (1999), he later earned a Master of Business Leadership (MBL) from UNISA SBL (2021).

After gaining experience in public hospitals, Kgabo entered private community pharmacy in 2002 and established the Kgoaredi Group of Pharmacies, with branches across Gauteng and North West.

Kgabo has been an ICPA member since its inception (2012) and has held key leadership roles, serving as ICPA Chairman (2019–2024) and leading the Legal, Lobbying, and Advocacy Portfolio. He was appointed by the Minister of Health to the Forum for Transparency and Medicine Availability and contributes to multiple pharmacy and healthcare forums.

A passionate advocate for universal healthcare and fair pharmaceutical access, Kgabo remains a key voice in shaping South Africa’s healthcare landscape.
